Piney Park Trail of Lights, 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 600 Martin Lake Road, Marshall. The light trail includes a 10,000-square-foot light maze, an enclosed children’s play area, a Christmas market, a food truck park, Santa Claus pictures, a gingerbread house, music, and a 45-foot Christmas tree. “A swinging Christmas show”, with Kelli Grant, the “Queen of Swing”, Saturday 8 p.m., Kokomo Theater, 2400 W. Marshall Ave., Longview. The outdoor theater is closed for the season; The indoor theater is open with limited seating. Free Movie Follows Show: Miracle on 34th Street, starring Maureen O’Hara and John Payne. 15th Annual Walk off the Bird Bird Walk, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Tyler State Park, 789 Park Road, Tyler. Step out of Thanksgiving, relax and enjoy the bird life of the East Texas Pineywoods. Bring your binoculars, dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and get ready for a 2.1-mile lakefront walk. Meet in front of the Silver Canoe Park Store.
